This shearling is in the top 1% Terminal Index, Maternal Index, 8 week weight and
Scan weight EBV. His Sire Essie Zulu, was first prize Aged ram and one of our
th
team which won the Interbreed Group of 3 at our local show. Zulu was 5 top
Stock Sire in 2019, has an impressive 76.10 mm gigot and has matured into a
long ,wide, strong ram who carries himself well. Since this shearling was scanned
at 15 weeks he has been reared entirely on grass and outwintered in the North of
Scotland. He is a naturally fleshy ram.
Essie flock is Scrapie Monitored and the shearlings have been tested clear of CLA
for more than 15 years.
