COMMENTS
This shearling is solid, deep bodied and powerful and stands well. He is a
naturally fleshy ram. He was born a triplet and reared as a twin. He is in the top
1% for Maternal Index and the top 5% for Terminal Index, for 8 week weight and
Scan weight EBVs. His GS was a top Recorded ram in NZ. Since this shearling
was scanned and weaned at 16 weeks he has been reared entirely on grass and
outwintered in the North of Scotland.
Essie flock is Scrapie Monitored and the shearlings have been tested clear of CLA
for more than 15 years.
