COMMENTS
This shearling has an impressive presence. He is tall, long, deep and wide and
stands really well. He is in the top 1% for both Terminal and Maternal Index,
muscle depth and lean weight. His Sire was top UK Performance Recorded Stock
Sire for Terminal Index as a shearling and top Stock Sire for Maternal Index the
next year. He also sired the top Stock Sire, Essie Commander, for Terminal Index
May 2020. Since he was scanned and weaned at 13 weeks he has been reared
entirely on grass and outwintered in the North of Scotland.
Essie flock is Scrapie Monitored and the shearlings have been tested clear of CLA
for more than 15 years.
