COMMENTS
This shearling is in the top 1%Terminal Index, Maternal Index, 8 week weight,
Scan weight, Muscle depth, Lean weight, and Gigot EBVs. He has been CT
scanned and is above the average of most of the scanned lambs, and scanned
especially well for KO%, gigot shape, EMA, (eye muscle area) and IMF
(intramuscular fat i.e. marbling). He has been tested and is RR/RR. He is also
sired by Essie Zulu. (See notes on 01797). Since he was scanned at 14 weeks he
has been reared entirely on grass and outwintered in the North of Scotland. He is
a naturally fleshy ram.
Essie flock is Scrapie Monitored and the shearlings have been tested clear of CLA
for more than 15 years.
